As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling incoming and outgoing shipments of pallets.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of pallets, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Organize and store pallets in designated storage areas, keeping inventory organized and easily accessible
- Assist with loading and unloading pallets onto delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies
- Prepare pallet orders for shipment by securely wrapping and labeling them according to customer requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy pallets as needed
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required
