Are you seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic and growing company? We are a leading pallet sales company, and we're currently looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of pallets to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of pallets and inspect them for quality and condition
- Organize and stack pallets in designated storage areas based on size, type, and condition
- Assist in the loading and unloading of pallets onto delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and reconcile any discrepancies
- Prepare pallet orders for shipment by securely wrapping and labeling them
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but training will be provided
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy pallets as needed
- Good communication skills and a team player mentality
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
