As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of pallets to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of pallets and conduct thorough inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Organize and store pallets in designated storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory records
- Assist in loading and unloading pallets onto delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management tasks as needed
- Prepare pallet orders for shipment, including wrapping and labeling according to customer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, following safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification preferred but not required)
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy pallets as required
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards teamwork
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as necessary
